It's been almost half a year since my last post, and I have no idea where the time went. Time flies when you're having fun...and making wedding preparations, eh?
Work is progressing on Blood of Our Own and it currently sits at 75% completion. I estimate it'll be out there in the world by March 2016, hopefully sooner.
And if anyone is interested in reading Volume I, The Queenschair, in print, please check it out here:
The Queenschair - print version
The price usually sat around the $12 level most of the time, but over the last month or so it's steadily dropped in price. As of today it's a very economical $7.19! I have no idea why it's being discounted or how Amazon's pricing mechanisms work; it certainly isn't anything I'm doing. So if you ever wanted to read my first book in nice trade paperback form but felt the price was too high, hopefully you'll consider it now. Thanks, and happy holidays to all!
UPDATE: 6 hours later, the price of The Queenschair has jumped to a crazy $14.99. Please don't buy it at $14.99. I'd feel much better if you read the Kindle version, which is much cheaper.

Ebook promotion coming up!
Hey everyone, and a special shout-out to the kindly folks at Anti-Shurtugal who found their way here thanks to my friend Rhyson! It's been a while since I posted an update, and that's mostly due to (wonderful) stuff going on in my personal life :)
My progress on Volume 4 of the Queenschair series has slowed to a crawl and I may not meet the October 2015 publishing date I set for myself. Right now, January 2016 looks a bit more realistic...
But anyway, for those of you who might be on the fence about checking out my books, I'll be running a promotion on Amazon starting August 1 at 4AM EST - Volume 1 will be $0.99 for a week. I hope enough of you will check it out that I can get some Irish Nachos at Wayback Burger. Oh who am I kidding, I'm getting those nachos no matter what.

Queenschair Volume III is out...mostly
Hi one and all, sorry for the long layoff between posts but I've been editing Volume 3 pretty intensely; I'm pretty sure my brain was even running edits in my sleep. But all of that work has been worth it, because the BOOK IS OUT!
Amazon.com - print version
At least...in print on Amazon, as of April 26, 2015. The e-book version will take a little longer because the e-book conversion company I use, Polgarus Studio, is experiencing delays due to a medical emergency. They've done a great job with my first two books so I don't mind waiting for the third. I apologize for the delay for everyone who prefers to get the digital version. And for anyone who hasn't read any of the books yet but is at least mildly interested, I'll be discounting the first 2 books' digital versions as soon as the Volume 3 e-book goes up! So you can grab the 3 available books for the price of a Subway footlong.
Thanks for your support!

Interview by Julie Sondra Decker!
I can't believe it's taken me so long to mention this;
hopefully you can bear with me a little longer while I figure out this online
presence thing ;) About a month ago I was interviewed about my book by Julie
Sondra Decker, a good friend and terrific writer (both fiction and non-fiction
- her book The
Invisible Orientation: An Introduction to Asexuality was
released last October in hardcover/Kindle versions and will get a paperback
version this fall). Julie has also been my writing critique partner for years.
and was instrumental in the development of The Queenschair. I
learned a ton of editing and writing techniques from her, and I can safely say
the books wouldn't be what they are without her.
So please check out the interview for a pretty fun discussion
about my book, worldbuilding, putting your own life into your stories, writing
unlikable characters, my outlining process, and more!
